ENERGY AND INFORMATION

Abstract

In Ether, God and the Devil, Reich had already pointed out that the orgone is an energy with organizing (negentropic) capabilities. Since organizing means bringing order, it also belongs to the sphere of information.

Now, any energy is normally capable of passively carrying information; the special thing about the orgone is that it does so actively. It forms new, original and more complex organizations. To understand how it is capable of doing that, we use Jean E. Charon's expanded general theory of relativity that speaks of sub-atomic mechanisms of storing and processing information in a negentropic space-time continuum - an interconnection of the universe that is the foundation of thought.

In Cosmic Superimposition, Reich proposes that the forms that nature follows comes from the trajectory of the orgone. But, playing with fractals, which are purely mathematical figures, we see those same forms (orgonomes) appearing. So we must reach farther back and suppose that even the orgone's movement has a form that follows some universal knowledge - and that the orgone may be not only a fundamental cosmic energy, but a common functioning principle between energy and information.
